HCB to resume face-to-face assessments
Since announcing in March that we were no longer able to carry out face-to-face assessments due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our clinical team have been closely monitoring Government advice. Whilst we are only in the second phase of the Governments’ COVID-19 pandemic response, it is notable that NHS England have reopened some non COVID healthcare services. Whilst this second phase does not signal a return to HCB’s full ‘business as usual’ environment, HCB will now be resuming some face-to-face assessments from 1st July 2020, where it is practical and safe to do so.
A detailed risk assessment has been completed and our Case Managers will take a number of steps to ensure that all appropriate precautions and measures are taken to maintain the safety of our clients, their staff or claimants, our case managers, and of course the wider public with whom we will inevitably come into contact. We have also developed and implemented a stringent Infection Control Policy by which our Case Managers will be bound.
