We have collectively been reflecting on Sir Charlie Mayfield’s Keep Britain Working report since its very recent publication. You don’t have to get into the detail to realise the positioning of the HCB Group services in direct relation to Sir Charlie’s summary. In his covering letter to the Secretaries of State for the Department for Work & Pensions and Department for Business & Trade, Sir Charlie wrote – “With the right approach, many more people could stay in work, recover faster, and live healthier, more secure lives. Employers must be in the lead…”
The HCB service is, in our view and the view of our clients, exactly the right approach, since is combines Wellness at Work, Absence Management, Early Intervention & Rehabilitation in a seamless suite of services. We will certainly be doing our bit to work with our clients, both insurer and corporate direct, to continue to influence safe and sustainable return to work support for employees throughout the UK, Ireland, and also through our emerging services at HCB Australia and HCB South Africa.
