Celebrating 30 Years of HCB Group

2023 marks 30 years of HCB Group and we were delighted to celebrate recently with friends, colleagues and clients at the Royal Society of Medicine.  It was such a special evening bringing together so many different people who have been on the journey with us over the last 30 years.  Below are a few photos taken on the evening and a few of the messages we received after the event.

A few comments from guests following the event:

Jim thank you so much for letting me share the special occasion with you yesterday. Good to me some new people and catch up with some of the older folks as well! I have been in the industry since 1984, almost 40 years, and the time has really flown by. Shame some of the great and good are no longer around but we are all standing on the shoulders of giants.

My sincere thanks for a wonderfully organised and executed event yesterday.  It was truly amazing and to a level I’ve not seen before so congratulations and it was much appreciated.

Thank you for the invitation to the 30^th anniversary celebrations yesterday, it was lovely to catch up with HCB colleagues and it was nice to put faces to names, particularly with MetLife! I had some interesting chats with people you have worked with over the years.

What a great venue. So well organised Betty, as always! And thank you for the gift, what a lovely thought.

Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon and of course, the gifts.  It was such a special occasion and I was thrilled to be a part of it.

I just want to say a huge ‘thank you’ for yesterday evening.

I had such a lovely time. It was like attending the best sort of reunion of the school variety just ever. Meeting people again with whom I used to spend so much time and have so much good fun with too. The consequent giggles at remembering was so good for the soul.

I have missed you all so very much. Seriously so. One thing in chatting to everyone struck me. We were all and many of us are still so incredibly passionate about what we did back then and indeed what we do now. All because it was based around the premise of ‘doing the right thing’. I’m ever so grateful that even now my job is still based around that premise. Another thing last night showed me was all that we did together for many years was pretty damned good too. That made me proud more so given I had to abandon it to do something else.

Jim’s speech struck personal chord having also started my journey in 1983 and found myself reflecting with others on the infectious nature of this industry, and the good we do.

It was a huge pleasure to see you both tonight and the celebrations were delightful and so well-earned . HCB is a special company with a lovely, unique culture and that was widely acknowledged tonight .

Just wanted to say thank you for last Thursday and for the lovey elephant champagne flute! It was lovely to meet you, to chat with so many old colleagues and contacts and to raise a glass to Mr H and HCB.

Congratulations to you and all your team for hosting such a wonderful anniversary event last week.  It was great to see and reminisce with so many good people.

I felt privileged to be invited and enjoyed it hugely.  Thank you so much.
