Yesterday marked our first ever virtual event and we were delighted that so many people tuned in to hear about the Coronavirus Support Services we have created to support employers/insurers and employees through the pandemic.
Jim Harris, HCB Group’s Managing Director opened the event, commenting that HCB Group are committed to the necessary thought leadership to keep staff at work as much as possible through these challenging times. He handed over to Chrissy Clark, HCB Group’s Head of Clinical Services, who gave a short presentation on each service: Connected at Home, Returning with You and HCB’s flagship Long Covid Assessment and Treatment Pathway. Chrissy spoke of how each service had been designed to offer a supportive role as employees transition through the various phases of the pandemic, with relevant case studies that underpinned the benefits that can be achieved from use of the services.
Following a Q&A session and notably a comment from HCB’s Director, Professor Sir Mansel Aylward CB, on his personal experience of Long Covid, Jim announced that Professor Aylward and Professor Kim Burton OBE, will be presenting an academic view of Long Covid at our next virtual event scheduled for 27th April.
There is already high demand for this session, but if you would like to attend, pls email Betty Simpson, bsimpson@hcbgroup.co.uk.
